We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Office Administrator to join a dynamic construction firm. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on accounting knowledge in the construction industry and be confident managing office operations, financial processes, and supporting field and project teams. Handle full-cycle accounts payable and receivable
Manage job costing, change orders, and progress billing
Prepare and maintain project budgets and reports
Process certified payroll, lien waivers, and retention billing
Ensure compliance with union and prevailing wage requirements
Collaborate with project managers and operations teams
Support office functions including document control, scheduling, and vendor management
Interface with clients, subcontractors, and internal staff professionally
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction compliance requirements
5+ years of accounting or office administration experience in the construction industry
Strong proficiency in Sage 100 Contractor, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar software
Experience with certified payroll, lien law, job costing, and retention billing
Familiarity with construction portals like Procore or Textura is a plus
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Notary Public is a plus
