We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Office Administrator to join a dynamic construction firm. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on accounting knowledge in the construction industry and be confident managing office operations, financial processes, and supporting field and project teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle full-cycle accounts payable and receivable

  • Manage job costing, change orders, and progress billing

  • Prepare and maintain project budgets and reports

  • Process certified payroll, lien waivers, and retention billing

  • Organizaing Projects and liason in team
  • Ensure compliance with union and prevailing wage requirements

  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams

  • Support office functions including document control, scheduling, and vendor management

  • Interface with clients, subcontractors, and internal staff professionally

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction compliance requirements


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of accounting or office administration experience in the construction industry

  • Strong proficiency in Sage 100 Contractor, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar software

  • Experience with certified payroll, lien law, job costing, and retention billing

  • Familiarity with construction portals like Procore or Textura is a plus

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

  • Notary Public is a plus
